For sale is a pair of 14k yellow gold Australian "floating opal" earrings.  Each antique earring has a round glass globes that is filled with clear liquid (glycerine) and small pieces of natural Australian opal.  The pieces of opal float freely in the liquid, creating a wonderful kaleidoscope display of colors and fire.  These earrings have very subtle fire.  As you move the earrings in the light you will see the opals flash with cherry red, purple, tangerine, and lime.  Each opal globe is topped with a filigreed yellow gold cap.  The earrings are suspended from 14k gold leverback earrings.  These fun opal earrings have wonderful old-world flair.
